About Pawtanicals
At Pawtanicals, we believe grooming goes far beyond appearance. It’s not just about haircuts—it’s about basic hygiene, skin health, and your dog’s overall well-being.
The reality is, most dogs don’t need frequent haircuts. But every dog needs routine, proper hygiene to stay healthy and comfortable.
Without a routine, issues like buildup, irritation, and coat damage become inevitable. That’s why our approach is centered around maintenance, not just aesthetics.
We focus on what matters most:
Supporting healthy skin
Maintaining coat integrity
Creating a consistent care routine that prevents problems before they start
This is where Pawtanicals is different.
Our approach is built around prevention—supporting the skin and coat through consistent care, not occasional visits.
We’ve designed our services to give pet parents a better, more practical way to care for their dogs—whether through guided self-service or professional support.
Because when you shift from occasional grooming to consistent care, the results speak for themselves.
Our Story
Allow us to introduce Tank—an English Bulldog who changed everything.
When co-founders Eric and Daniela welcomed Tank into their lives, they were quickly faced with ongoing challenges: severe skin infections, weight issues, and the constant trial-and-error that many pet parents experience when searching for real solutions.
Through that journey, one thing became clear—surface-level care wasn’t enough. Tank’s progress came from consistency, from routine, and from a deeper understanding of how skin, coat, and overall health are connected.
At the same time, the reality of maintaining that level of care at home—especially in a small apartment—was physically demanding and unsustainable.
That experience sparked a simple idea: there had to be a better, more practical way for pet parents to care for their dogs consistently.
That idea became Pawtanicals.
Evolution of Pawtanicals
In May 2018, what started as a vision quickly became real. During a walk with Tank and their beloved bulldog Lola, Eric and Daniela came across a small grooming space available for lease. With the support of family and a leap of faith, they secured the location and opened Pawtanicals just a few months later.
At the time, self-service dog wash concepts were still relatively unfamiliar in the area. But the mission was clear from the beginning:
Make proper, routine care more accessible—and empower pet parents to do it right.
Then came 2020.
Like many small businesses, Pawtanicals was forced to confront an unexpected reality. The existing model no longer worked in a rapidly changing environment. Instead of standing still, Eric and Daniela adapted.
They stepped further into hands-on care—focusing on bathing, skin health, and functional grooming rather than traditional haircut-based services.
What began as a survival pivot became a defining shift.
Today, Pawtanicals is built around that evolution. Whether through self-service or professional support, everything we offer is designed to help you care for your dog properly, consistently, and with intention.
Because at the end of the day, dogs don’t just need occasional grooming. They need the right kind of care—done regularly.
“It’s amazing what loving your pet can inspire you to create.”
